What is The Scoop?

The Scoop is a literary interview series where I talk to authors about their writing, their lives, their passions, and everything else over ice cream. Though I will talk to authors promoting new books, I intend to interview a lot of writers who are outside the Promotional Window—as they’re working silently on their next projects, when they’re thinking deeply about craft and ideas and scenes and characters soon-to-be-cut. All the writerly aspects of being a writer.
